JW Scudder Roofing Team

The man who started it all ... John began his career over 50 years ago, ultimately establishing this company in 1983. With extensive roofing expertise, there isn't anything in the roofing profession that he hasn't covered! As a certified roofer and NFRC Heritage Roof Master, though you may not see him on a roof anymore, rest assured that his skills are still actively applied today through his teachings to his son, ensuring the legacy of excellent roofing professionals continues.

Following his father's footsteps, John joined the company in 1998. Working alongside his father, he learned the trade directly from a master roofer. John has since achieved the NFRC Heritage Craft Roofer certificate and holds NVQs in Roofing Construction. His passion is clearly evident in all his work, demonstrating his roofing expertise as he strives for perfection on every job. As a dedicated member of the team of certified roofers, John exemplifies the commitment and skill of true roofing professionals.

Jai joined our team in 2018 at just 16 years old and fresh out of school. Much like the father and son setup, Jai initially worked as John’s laborer. He quickly progressed to become John’s apprentice and is now a very competent roofer, gaining valuable roofing expertise along the way. Jai’s continuous development is fostered by working alongside certified roofers like John, ensuring that knowledge and skills are passed down. We are immensely proud of his journey so far and excited for his future with our team of dedicated roofing professionals.

Sonny is our newest recruit among our certified roofers. He joined us in March 2023 and immediately demonstrated impressive roofing expertise. Sonny has navigated all the early stages of his roofing career with ease and aims to advance up the ladder *no pun intended* much faster than most.

Working alongside experienced roofing professionals John and Jai, Sonny eagerly absorbs all the knowledge the team shares. He has a very bright future ahead!
